How is that appropriate to this subforum?
That's like comparing apples and oranges (no pun intended :p). We're talking about Mac OSX vs. Windows, two completely different things. :)

I'm all for competition, only helps the consumer :). This certainly looks nice, I'd drop the sharp, boxy design though. But while we're talking about contenders, isn't the Lenovo X300 pretty good too?

Because as a Voodoo, it's going to be as much of a rip off as Macs.

    Don't lynch me I have a G5! But I do really believe what I said >___>

Oh and he posted it here for people looking for Macbook Air's to have another option available.

I've always loved Apple's products and the MacBook Air is really nice, but Voodoo's new 13" is truly amazing. I'm still waiting for their gaming notebook lineup, though.

Thanks Michael at least some people are receptive to something other then Mac OSx. I think it's a great piece of engineering work. Oh and yes so is the X300. Not all people own or want to use a mac so this is a great alternative to them.

So does it belong here, yes it does. This will most likely be a more mainstream system then the usual Voodoo Systems. And as for price it isn't much different then the MBA.

If you look at the video linked you will see that the Voodoo MAY come with an external dedicated GPU. YES APPLE HAS TERRIBLE GPU'S at the moment, like it or not it will be competition for those people that don't want Apple. And if I am not mistaken 94% of the PC market still belongs to Windows.

And yes I am a Mac user, and I enjoy it immensely. That doesn't mean the rest of the world does or will.

I've wanted a Mac for a long time and I really like OS X, but notebooks from companies like Voodoo and Alienware I like a lot more. I figured if I ever wanted a 13" ultraportable, it would've been the MacBook Air, no doubt, but the entire Mac line isn't worth it right now, performance and price-wise. The Voodoo 133 has even more evolutions than the MacBook Air, looks nicer, and it's truly a laptop with a flawless build quality that's worth the price. Apple products have a good build quality, but I've yet to see an Apple product with perfect build quality, and it's obvious that they're made inmass production. Let's see what Apple does with the next refresh...
