Hi guys. I got my MBP about 2 weeks ago, and got the VX Nano about 2 days ago. I just plugged in the Nano and it worked perfectly, except I had to install the drivers to get the mouse buttons working.

Since I installed the drivers, OSX has crashed THREE times on me, and it always happened when I was turning on the mouse when my MBP was already on, or when I was waking the MBP pro up from sleep when the mouse was on.

What would happen is a transparent grey "curtain" would roll down the screen, and a message in 4 different languages would tell me I need to restart the computer.

After that I have to to a cold restart.

    Can anyone help me?

The first thing to do is to completely uninstall the Logitech software and reinstall it. You could also try repairing permissions; sometimes that fixes issues like this.

I have this problem too (and I'm really happy to know that you have it because I wasn't sure or not if the mouse was causing it.) I think it's the logitech software. Delete all the software and then install SteerMouse. Mine hasn't crashed since I did that.

Love the VX Nano, by the way.

Ok I'm also glad it's not just me. I haven't heard of steermouse before, does anyone else use it, is it popular? I'm new to Mac.

Also I uninstalled all the Logitech software and reinstalled it. Since then it hasn't crashed, but I may still use Steermouse if you recommend it.

Try removing the logitech drivers and software and just use the mouse and see if it crashes.

It works like that, however without drivers you cant use the forward and back buttons, nor program what to do with the quickfind button, nor properly calibrate scroll and track speed.

So thats not really a solution, still need some drivers.
