I have a G5 w/ osx 10.4.9 and just installed Logic 8 because my dongle for Logic 7 just broke... however, it wont work because my OS is too old...

any suggestions or should I just purchase a Leopard?

are you sure that is the issue? it would be odd for logic 8 to not support a G5.
