I installed Lion and now truecrypt fails to mount a file and i am told that the macfuse file system is unavailable.

Any ideas how i can correct this?

I think we'll have to wait for either the makers of Macfuse or Truecrypt to come up with a solution. The official MacFUSE releases (which Truecrypt uses) are incompatible with 64 bit kernels. The MacFUSE successor OSXFUSE is supposed fix this problem.

I guess I will just have to wait to get access to my files until something comes along. Do not know of anyway to unlock without TrueCrypt.

I just downloaded a new revision of Macfuse, which is Lion compatible.

After installation, I was able to use Truecrypt without a problem.

    Here's the link.
