I just got another mbp replacement and it seem that when i try to close it the last 3/4" is a bit hard to close. The spring portion of it seems a lot harder then most. Is there an adjustment for this if i were to take it apart? I dont mind going to apple its just that i dont want to wait 2 weeks for them to fix it. Any ideas would be great.

It may just be a tight hinge (Apple calls them clutches). Unless you think something is going to break I would just exercise it a bit and see if it loosens up. Either that or trade hinges with someone with a 17" PB j/k.

I had that problem with my original mbp, and they replaced the hinges, it would just close if i tilted the comp forward.

    That solved my problem really.
