I installed leopard on my 2.2Ghz MBP, it runs pretty quickly but the UI animation and the dock are not as smooth as I would like.
Anyways whilst playing halo I exited by mistake (it kept the res at like 800x600) and I noticed the doc and spaces etc were super smooth!
Why is it that its running poorly on native resolution? Will this be fixed?
Please help!

Does Leopard maybe demand more resources from the system?

Nah, Leopard is a lot less demaning. Maybe it's still buggy.

everything runs smooth on mines. Maybe you have other stuff running in the background -

How long ago did you install Leopard? Spotlight could still be indexing which would take some time.

Days ago... its not indexing. and it isn't consuming much ram... just not smooth during spaces and on the dock...
