    September 22nd Edit

The new Leopard Intro video has been posted on YouTube again, this time featuring new music. So the original track for the video, which was the same as the one used in the Tiger Intro video, has been replaced by a new track, which was also used for the new iMac commercial.

The video has been taken off YouTube by Apple Legal again. So no more show :( :p.

I understood what it the video was trying to say...after the first word.

    Windows never says that .

    Cool video.

It was a joke! :p My point really was that Windows doesn't have something like this, so why is it stupid, as the other user kinda stated.

That's cool, it's the same look when using the Time Machine in Leopard. Except, not with those languages bienvenido, etc etc.

Time Machine helps locate your lost files or you can't find any files in your computer.

Yeah, Apple is throwing a lot of "space" feel to Leopard, with Time Machine and the new desktop and the welcome video, and even the Leopard webpage: http://www.apple.com/macosx/leopard/

Yeah, looks like Steve changed his mind. I personally like the grass background more, its already cemented on my mind as Leopard :p, while this new space background does nothing for me.

Who here plans on upgrading immediately to Leopard, and for what reason? I plan on upgrading, but am still debating on when to upgrade.

Well Apple forced Google to remove the video. I don't see what's the big deal, Apple wants to keep everything a big secret. This cat could have stayed out of the bag. :)

I would say wait a few months for Software Updates to patch up possible bugs. This is more a problem with Windows but it doesn't hurt to wait a bit for Apple to patch up as well.

Same reason why I don't buy the first few production runs of a new product, as tempting as it is to get them right away ;). Let the issues get fixed first.

I think Apple should've just let it out in the wild. It generates so much buzz for Apple anyways. And it doesn't hurt them to have the Welcome video leaked.

Agreed. But it also generates Buzz when Apple makes sites take the leaked content down. Look what we're talking about right now.

Honestly, I don't care about the Welcome video or the desktop. They're both extremely insignificant.

True. In a sense, I agree that Apple is way overcovered in the tech media :p. The media goes crazy over a press announcement of another press announcement! :D

I know, I'm contradicting myself by reviving an old thread :p, I'm sorry!

But anyways, there's a new Leopard video up; same video, but new track. No longer the Tiger music, now its the same track as the commercial for the new iMac. Read the (edited) first post of this thread to see the video, at least before Apple Legal takes it off YouTube.

I like the video, but not the "space theme".

When I first saw the grass background on the apple website for Leopard, I thought "This is really cool!". I called over my girlfriend and the first thing out of her mouth was "Woah! Awesome background."

The new one makes me feel no emotion :p. Do you think they will have the grass background on apple.com to download when Leopard comes out???

Dustin you can get that grass background virtually anywhere on the web from a google search. I think Apple changed it because it was sorta looking Windows-ish.

This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Apple, Inc.

Haha LOL... that's what it says on YouTube. I guess it really did get taken down.
