I'm curious on what would happen to my applications that I installed on Tiger if I install Leopard. Would they all remain intact and require no reconfiguration?

Most notably, I'm questioning how it would affect VMWare Fusion... Anyone who has the beta version of Leopard try this?

VMware says that Fusion is fully compatible with Leopard, so I wouldn't worry about it. As for the applications, they will remain intact.

I'll paste this from VMware's FAQ page:

I wouldn't worry about Leopard support for any program of a company that intends to stay in business for any length of time :p It's just a matter of time before everything is fully compatible.

Above all, Leopard will of course be backwards compatible so I wouldn't worry.
