Bad news for Apple/Mac lovers. Looks like the much anticipated iPhone is being delayed until October, and the Leopard Mac OS won't debut until early 2008. Maybe that's when you'll get the Santa Rosa upgrade for the Macbooks?

The article has been updated and states that according to Apple, development and release of both products is on time for the current schedule. Personally, it would suck if it was delayed yet again; Apple hit MS hard enough for delaying Vista for 3 years.

This is engadget looking for hits. It is articles like this that take away from a site's credibility. Why would they publish an unsubstantiated rumor like this aside from looking to get a burst of traffic?
