looks like a new site. it's not even on resellerratings. hard to tell if it's legit or not. you could try calling them to see how their customer service is. ask a few challenging questions to see if they know what they're talking about.

Besides, the fishy(premaidish) looking site and the image property of the payment methods going to http://www.dhgate.com/(Wholesale products from china),there is this:

    http://www.whois.net/whois_new.cgi?d=silmyard&tld=com

Way too new and google the Registrar...you will find some interesting results like
    spammer domains 20 Aug

I advise you to stay away...

Looks real shady. The 2.53 Macbook Pro at $1,399? No way!

Buy from somewhere else man, you'll get scammed!

Probably not a legit site. I tried to buy an HDTV from them. The indirect listing I used indicated they had 4 of 5 stars. The price was about the same as a recent promotion price. A clue that there was a problem was that shipping was only $15. When I looked at the whole site, I discovered the impossibly low MacBook prices. silmyard.com is based in China. I was encouraged when I received email from the seller that the shipping tracking number would be sent to me in 2 days. But after 5 days I did not hear from them and they did not respond to emails The good news for me is that I used paypal for payment. So I initiated a problem with paypal. After escalating the problem due to still not hearing from silmyard.com, the problem is now resolved 2 days later and my payment has been refunded to my paypal account.

In summary, silmyard.com is not likely to be legit.

I just clicked the link and its not even a functioning website anymore. The message didn't even have proper English grammar: This website does not to access.

So I would not trust them :p.

Yeah, definitely a fake website. It's kinda like that "refurbishedxbox360.com" scandal that scammed many people out of their money.

To be on the safe side after such an expensive laptop. I think I would only buy from an authorized internet reseller listed on Apples website

I was going to try Macmall, then I saw a slew of negative feedback comments about how people received damaged products and how lackluster the service was. Anybody here order from them before?

The site is dead now !
Rule of thumb: If a price sounds too good to be true then there is something wrong with the deal. Stay away from "too good to be true" deals
