This is the second thing that has gone wrong with my MBP in the last few weeks :(, first my HDD crashed now my left speaker is dead.

So i was typing away on FB while listing to old tracks from black eyed peas and then i noticed the sound waving up and down. Thinking it was a software glitch i restarted the laptop to find the same annoying thing while trying to fiddle with the audio software settings i found the right-left channel selector and after shifting it to the left there was almost no sound "Very very low sound" but the right one was almost ok a bit muffled tough.

Is this covered under the 1y warranty or will i have to give extra? Also will they change the whole set left+right or only the left speaker. I am sure that the right one is also somehow damaged so would like to get it replaced as well.

I just hope problems stay limited to these bits and i dont get any mainboard problems.

should be covered unless they find something under the " accidental" catagory
