This is really beginning to annoy me since I tend to use my system during the night hours. While I can adjust the brightness of the back light, it'll go back to 100% a second later. I'm using the 169.09 graphics drivers, but the problem persisted with the default Apple drivers.

Has anyone else run into this problem and found a solution?

For those curious, I use OS X about 90% of the time but rely on XP for gaming and for editing files for a friend, whom ironically is a Mac fanatic and the reason why I switched to a Mac, yet only XP can handle certain files she wants converted or edited. So please don't assume I'm a Macindows user. ;)

Anyways, my setup is in my signature.

Edit: By Macindows, I meant people whom purchase MBP's with the soul intent of primarily running Windows XP/Vista.

While i don't have the problem where it reverts back to 100% immediately, every time i restart into XP the brightness goes back to 100%. It really is annoying as the screen is blindingly bright.
