    Keyloggers in Mac OS X?

    Okay i know that macs cant get trojans or spyware or malware but what about keyloggers? I mean do you guys think its possible that there might be a keylogger for os 10.5?

    And Macs can get trojans or spyware or malware as well.

    If it runs programs and stores data, then you can put a keylogger on it.


    On that topic, if it runs programs at all, it can get viruses, malware, spyware and trojan, etc....

    What distinguishes a virus from another program? Intent. Otherwise, its just executable code to the OS.

    There are no free virus scanners that actually fix files for OS X though. If you do get one be pre-paired to pay for one. I use ClamXV and it will find a file and either quarantine or delete it. Can still save your system, but it only works for viruses.

    Yeah, OS X (and ANY OS) can get a virus or trojan. Sounds like someone bought into the myth :p.

    I'd like to clarify, Mac OS X is not invincible to viruses, trojans, spyware, etc. It just hasn't been attacked yet.

    Uhh, that is a trojan, not an exploit of Mac, to get a trojan it takes an exploit of the end user not the OS.
