This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Keyboard shortcuts problem

    I've been having problems for keyboard shortcuts to "save" the changes I make. Every now and then the F9 - F12 shortcuts gets unchecked for no apparent reason. Now it's to the point that after I check them, and then exit system menu, it unchecks it automatically. Anyone got any idea what is going on? Thanks

    You need to disable the F9-12 settings in Expose. Just go to Expose in System Prefs and change the associated shortcut keys there to something else, then go back to keyboard prefs and set your shortcuts.
