Having had my problem resolved in super quick time on here - thanks - I was wondering if there is a link to any Mac keyboard 'fixes' or other clever little tricks?

What are you referring to when you say "keyboard fixes"?

    anything of a similar nature.

    Ha Ha...

I thought this would be 'THE' place for information on Macs - sometimes there's a clever-clogs who knows more than apple support :)

    But thanks for the link!

Maybe so, but I'm a bit of a cynic when it comes to taking someone's expertise for granted - when I was using photoshop professionally and called the Adobe help line I was giving THEM information they didn't know and they were supposed to be the experts!?
Anyhow, I'm sure there are people on here who have, through experience, trial and error found some useful stuff that isn't on the Apple support site...

Sometimes the easiest and quickest way to answer a question is to Google it however.

Easy or not, this is a Mac OS Q&A - strangely enough I found it by googling

Where better to get some 'seasoned advice' as a starting point?

Any damn fool can google...

Exactly, and 9 times out of 10 you can find an immediate answer. Any question you can think of has probably been asked by someone else and there is an answer already out there.

You're insisting on having the last word here Khris it's almost like a pissing contest - if it makes you feel better then so be it and good luck to you, but maybe go and buy yourself a big sports car, or a large M/bike, or a big boat, or something equally compensatory as I don't think one-upmanship on a forum really cuts the mustard!

ps.I await your 'amusing' self-gratulatory private message... :)

Ah the wonders of the edit button!
