    I just got a MBP last night... Anyone know how I go about getting iLife 08 for free?

    So you don't have iLife '08 pre-installed in your new MBP? Then unfortunately you won't be able to get it unless you buy it...but try talking the Apple Store employees into letting you get it for the $9.99 deal. Sometimes they'll give in.

    I just got mine too recently. But I dont think iLife 08 is so much better than 06. Basic functions are pretty much the same. Probably not worth the effort bugging the Apple service. Or maybe...

    just got off the phone with somebody from apple and no luck but i might go to the local store tommorow so ill see what happens.
