Hey my new Envision 32" lcd display jsut got delivered by ups today!! I was so happy! yay!

anyways I hooked it up using the included pc cable (my dvi cable hasnt come yet) and I can use it as a second display on the right or left, or as a mirrored display, but I cannot figure out how to use it alone and have my macbook pro screen shut off and use the 32 as the primary single display.

Also How do I set it up to run my games on the 32" full screen and use my laptop display as a secondary. If I run my games windowed on the 32" then hit maximize or full screen they always revert back to my mbp screen in full screen mode.

    any info helps!

    thanks!

o and did anyone else see this screaming deal at staples on the envision????

To make your MB screen secondary, go to System Pref>Displays>Arrangement and drag the little title bar to the other rectangle.

To use it alone with your MB screen off, you either have to install a 3rd party app, or do the following:
    1. Plug a USB mouse into your MB USB port
    2. Close your MB lid
    3. Move the mouse around so that your MB wakes up

After that, your external display should be the only screen available.
