    Just bought first Macbook.. Anything I need to know?

    So i just bought my first macbook(2.4ghz) and i plugged the battery in, turned it on and set everything up. Now iam connecting and so far am liking my new mac alot. Is there anything I need to know about macs to maybe increase my performance and keep my battery from not becoming a dud too quickly? Thanks alot.

    NO VIRUS SOFTWARE. I know they sell Norton but its a waste. Apple care is a good idea if you can afford it. Check out shieldzone.com for a really good skin. Check out the sticky about switching, and wait for Sam to come in with his standard 2 links. Other than that, welcome to the club; and don't be afraid to ask for help :)

    Although reading Sam's Switcher Guide is always useful. :)
