Well just a few minutes ago i was running safari, mail and ichat. My fan inside that macbook started making a loud noise. I checked istat pro and my cpu usage was like 45% and memory usage was at like 1.19 gig i think. Now i know safari likes memory leaks. But damn did my cpu have to make so mch noise. When i closed the programs down everything went back to normal. Nice and quiet. Well was this fan thing normal. I only heard this loud when i was playing Pirates of the carribbean online(which is awesome btw). Should i get this checked?

It happened once or twice with my pre-santa rosa macbook. I used activity monitor to see what was going on and it was usually safari or itunes or quicktime farting up the computer, so I would quit them and restart, after that all was fine. So I guess you will be fine as well.

Its not normal, but its not unusual for it to happen. I personally don't really like Safari, but I use it anyways because its just habit...Safari acts up quite often, and it often works up the processor. Just quit Safari and the computer will start to cool down again. No need to get your MacBook checked at this point.
