I'm looking to for a journal keeping program for my new MBP. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for something free but I wouldn't mind spending a little cash if the program is worth it. Thanks.

Basically any word processing application would do that, but if you want something else OmniOutliner is pretty good at writing articles and in your case, writing journal entries. OmniOutliner is bundled into all new Macs. Just search for it in Spotlight.

OmniOutliner is free as mentioned, but you can pay for the Pro version for more features if you want.

I use Circus Ponies Notebook myself.

There's also Journler, Yojimbo, VoodooPad, Devon, and a whole bunch of others...it seems that the Mac community is really into the whole organization/journal/notetaking and GTD culture.

If you use Parallels or VMWare, there's also OneNote 2007.

Try MacJournal. I swear by it, I have been using it for 2 years and love the software. It has won awards and it's very Mac like. Price to download is $34.95 or $39.95 boxed edition. Here's the link.
