Itunes 7.7 is always freezing up on my system (listed below) when I plug in my ipod touch / sync / etc. and then try to close it. Even If I unplug the Ipod Touch first then try to click out of Itunes it freezes..

Any advice? Is 7.7 just a little buggy? As for now everytime I want to close itunes I have to "end program"......

It's iTunes 7.7, I installed it on two computers yesterday (Vista x64 Ultimate, Vista x86 Business) and I had the problem where when you close it it freezes. Have not yet tried syncing my ipod.

Well, like I said, one is Vista 64 the other is Vista 32. It happens on both. I was on 7.6, where every time I opened it, it would ask me to set it up like it was the first time it was being run (did you have this problem? I had it on both but could not find any documentation of the issue). I am not sure yet which was more annoying.

no 7.6 worked fine.. I had to get 7.7 for my ipod touch apparently (when i plugged it in the first time it told me i had to update) and it asked me to re-install the 64bit version...

The only thing I noticed when I upgraded on my desktop at work (Win XP) was that it was set to randomly play songs. Other than that, no problems
