    I don't understand this part number at all, I think someone mentioned that the 6 means 2006 but what is ythr 00?

    That's the part number. You wanna look at the serial I believe. It will start W86xx. The W8 referring to model, 6 to 2006 and xx to the week of production. Someone please correct me if I am wrong since I will be buying one next week and would like to know.

    Indeed, the first two digits designate where it was produced, year 6 and the next two digits are the week they are produced.

    For instance, W8617 means it was manufactured a certain place in 2006, week 17.

    Actually the first two digits refer to where it was manufactured.
    The next three digits are, as stated above, the year and the week.
