Stumbled across this MBP 15" on eBay. Does this seem right?

    Brand New Macbook pro 15 Core i7 2.2GHZ 750GB 4GB | eBay

The ad states that the RAM speed is 1066MHz, but on the Apple site the RAM is listed as 1333MHz...

Unless the seller took out the stock RAM and put in crap RAM.

Really a good deal regardless, but I'd like some feedback. Thanks :)

This seller only has 5 feedbacks so be aware... It could be a misprint as far as the ram goes. If you know someone in Georgia picking it up and paying in person would be the prudent option since he /she is offering it... however... my suspicion is that the price will be much, much higher by the time the auction is over...

Ah. I really want a 15" but they're a lot pricier than the 13"s if you buy from Apple.

It's worth the price if you need the screen space. Plus, the 15" is a lot faster and has better graphics for gaming.

The ad is for a highly expensive item from a seller with little or no online history. I would look elsewhere for a more credible purchase.

Seller doesn't take paypal as a form of payment. It seems like hes also trying to sell the macbook with pirated software. I'd look for something else.

I bought my 15" MBP from ebay a year ago and paid $1050 (Plus $30 shipping); I got the C2D processor when Apple just introduced the i5 in the MBP so all the tech-heads were dumping their 'old' units to buy new.

You could do the same, if you're willing to have last years's technology but save $500. I still look on eBay at the 15" MBP and you can get last year's model for around $1100 if you keep at it.

    Here's one right now:

What is a moneybooker? This is the first time I am seeing that on ebay.

As for ebay, I believe you have to have a paypal account to sell and since the new rules late last year, paypal has become the preferred choice of payment. Paypal offers buyer protection so ebay is covered in that sense as well.

PS I googled and found that moneybooker is a sort of paypal itself.
