So... what is your CPU clocked at?

If you're ripping a dvd, the processor load will be at its maximum.
What program are you using? Whenever I use video or audio conversion software (Handbrake, Switch, ffmpeg, a couple of other stuff) the CPU load is around 98% average; the temperature rises to 86 degrees Celcius with the fan running at maximum speed (6000+). (MacBook C2D 2.16) -
im using dvd ripper 4

The ripping is the problem.

It's not really a problem, I wouldn't worry about it unless it didn't drop after the rip.

Ripping a DVD is a long process, and your Mac is trying to complete the task as fast as possible. As DVD ripping is carried out by the CPU alone, the CPU on your Mac will be working at full load.
Is this Normal? CPU Running at 98-100%
