The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is my screen faded or something?

    Got my new MBP in the mail today. I exchanged it for a MB so I guess returning it because I feel something is wrong seems grimy. The colors look, excuse my language, f***ed up. The blue highlight color looks purple and the facebook blue color looks like a hybrid between purple and blue. The address book does not look brown but more brown-orange.

    Is there anything I can do?

    I tried calibrating the screen in system preferences but I don't see anything near what i saw with my first MB.

    I'll take a picture with my digicam so you guys can see.
