Yo,
So I'm just wondering, is it a good time right now to purchase an i5, 15" Macbook Pro? What I'm afraid of is that the Pro will be updated with improved graphics (something I really need) and more features not so long after if I purchase one right now but I also cannot afford to wait weeks for a new one to come out. So is the Macbook Pro nearing the end of its product cycle or just the middle? And are there any patterns that show whether or not the next update will be substantial or not?
Thanks.

your guess is as good as ours, personally I can not see a major GPU upgrade in the immediate future unless they redesign the entire unit for better cooling.
when the 2010 refresh came out many of us were sad but not suprised such a low/mid end GPU was used in the 15 and 17" machines. -
yes. no need to wait. get a free iod touch while youre at it. or $50-200 off?

haha, I wish. Australia doesn't seem to offer any sort of deal like that

They're not going to update until Intel comes out with the new platform next year. If you need one in the next few weeks, now's as good a time one as any other time.

Thanks, just what I wanted to hear.
