How do I know if both my CPU cores are used on my MBP (sig) in Windows XP SP2 through bootcamp?

Let's say I'm playing Oblivion. How can I check if both my cores are used?

    Thanks!

Is oblivion multi threaded? I'm not certain but I don't think so.

There are a number of monitoring programs you can download to check your cores, including a few gadgets for the sidebar.

I'm not sure that you can utilize two cores while playing Oblivion - I always thought that particular game was single-core only.

However, you can monitor your CPU usage on the desktop through Windows Task Manager.

You can check to see if both cores are being used by going into Task Manager, then the Performance tab. You'll see "CPU History" and if you see 2 graph boxes, XP will be using both cores.

xp home prolly won't be using both cores, it only has support for hyperthreading, but xp pro has full support for multiple processors.
