Is "Login Items" kept in the "/Library/StartupItems"?

    Hello,

I originally try to create a custom Dock for the "Guest" account using the Snow Leopard Server Admin Tool, as documented here. Generally, it works well as shown in the link.

Problem is, this tool seems to modify the Login Items for my personal account. When I went back to System Preferences --> Accounts, I noticed that majority of my Login Items were removed. This is even though I did not modify the Login Items for my personal account.

For example, before installing the Server Admin Tools, my account is shown to have 6-7 Login Items, such as LogMeIn. Now, it doesn't show it but LogMeIn still started when my MacBook Air boots up.

So I am thinking that there is another folder that keep tracks what are being added in Login Item. Does anyone know where this is at?

Additionally, those who uses the Server Admin Tool, have you ever came across the same problem above?
