Hey, so I just filled out the rebate form online for my free ipod (from the student store). For those who did the free ipod deal, how long did it take to get the money back if you filled it out online?

Well I sent in the 'wrong' UPC's when I sent my rebate stuff in, so it took a bit longer because they end up sending me a letter telling me what to send back and whatnot, but its usually 2-3 weeks.

It took about two months to get my rebate back. I filled it out the same week I got the macbook and I made sure everything was included when I mailed the rebate in.

But you mailed it... i just want to know how long it takes from the online one. I know mail in forms take forever, but have always heard that the online rebates are much faster.

I did it online, basically online you fill out all your information which goes into their database, and they make you print out a paper that has a barcode for faster checking out, so you're mailing it in anyways, but if you do it online you'll be saving them a step they have to do and making it faster

2-3 weeks is what it was for me, like I said this was before the big school season, so I would imagine its more around the lines of 5-6 weeks now.

It ended, but ou still have time to turn it in a while after the promotion ended.
I bought mine before the end of the date, then waited 14 days to see if I would return it, and just turned in the rebate a few days ago.

I believe when I was reading the terms it said that if you purchased your notebook within the last..what... week or so of the promotion, you get up to one month to have it sent in, they will check your invoice for confirmation for this extention I believe. In any case, don't wait and do it now.
