Well for a while now I have been attempting to get my ipod to connect to the internet via Ad Hoc through my Vostro 1500 Intel Wireless 3945.

I have joined the network according to the ipod, I went through the "Other..." to connect. I have a check mark next to the actual network under "Choose a Network. From there I even have wifi bars on the top part of the ipod next to the text "iPod".

Yet when I go to safari I get the following message

I get similar messages with any app that uses the internet.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Have you got an IP assigned to your iPod? What are the network DHCP settings on your iPod Settings network information screen?

Problem fixed by running Network Setup Wizard.
