While trying to replace the housing on my 3G, I ran into a major problem. While trying to remove the screws keeping the logic board down, i think I might have stripped the very last screw holding me between a normal iPhone and a red iPhone.

I don't really want to try some of the harsher techniques, as I'm afraid that they'll damage the phone. Any tips from the posters on how to remedy the situation

The screw is right above the 2 on the orange sticker, if it helps.

try a bigger philips. Don't you hate how it's always one screw that gets stuck. I had that problem on my MBP so I tried a little bigger bit and it got it out.
If that fails maybe some pliers

their is a paste you can buy at ace hardware or any harware store that has special material so it grips better. I would invest, otherwise you can tap the screw...

I would be a pain in the butt to tap a screw that small.

Well, in my opinion, it's worth the trouble.
