The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

It sounds like native translators for any darn document that is out there; can u imagine reading the entire PDF document without launching the heavy-weight Adobe? Nice...
So what is the hidden tech behind this secret?

Edit: Subject should spell Quick Look rather than QuickView...getting there, slowly.

Yeah, it looks really cool, and its not just PDFs...Powerpoint presentations, Word documents, videos, etc. Very cool.

As for the PDF thing, well, Preview displays PDFs fine too and its not too heavy of an application :p.
