    Anyone else experiencing this?

I have reset my router, reset the modem, even plugged my MBP directly into the modem and it wasn't any different. I left the modem and router off for 5 minutes along with the computer then turned them all on. The only site that works 100% is Facebook. NBR here takes a lot longer to load, as does Google, and getting to my Gmail is next to impossible.

It's just as slow on a new user and I tried creating a different connection and no luck.

10.6.6 is frustrating me and it's only been on my machine 10 hours. not a good sign.

I'm also having a bunch of issues trying to access my phone via usb debugging mode. Trying to flash a new ROM and anytime I open the SD card my Mac freezes and I have to hard reboot....

Yikes...hope the issues don't last too long. Did you do a Time Machine Backup before updating? Maybe you could revert to a previous state?

My last backup was probably a week - week and a half ago, so not too bad.
I'm gonna keep 10.6.6 until tomorrow and if it doesn't fix itself by then, I'll restore.

I haven't had any issues since updating, and I ran a buncha speed tests and played a couple online games and everything is normal.. 10.6.6 didn't slow me down at all.

Maybe it was just my bad luck as I don't see many people reporting the issues I had but 10.6.6 update this morning turned out to be quite the PITA; a first for me of any of the updates on OSX.

After the update was done I logged out only to find myself locked out; all user data and log-ins were gone and inaccessible. Luckily I had just done a Time Machine backup although I never had to use it.

I contacted AppleCare and they spent an hour rebuilding our user accounts (all the core data was still intact) and bringing everything back to normal. I later realised I had also lost my wireless multi-function printer/scanner which took almost the whole afternoon to sort out.

Thankfully everything is back to normal now but I pretty much wasted my whole day on this update. On a positive note, the guy and girl from AppleCare who helped me over the phone were outstanding; it literally was the best tech support experience I’ve ever had with any product.

My home Macbook pro, and the iMac at work i use were both really slow after updating, but after turning the iMac off for the night and coming back this morning, it seems to be running as it did before, perhaps just a shutdown is required?

I havent checked the MBP at home though, so i cant confirm

My iMac sat on the blue screen with spinning wheel for what seems like almost an hour. I left it alone and then came downstairs later to see that it was on the log on screen. Logged in, everything is working as splendid as before.

10.6.6 on two MB's, no problems except for a couple of "server not responding" errors in the APP store. Ironic.

My internet is slow as molasses. At first I thought it might be my new RAM, but I went back to the stock RAM and it's still occurring. I'm getting all kinds of wonky colored graphics as well. It's not the video card, since it goes away when I close a window or two.

Aggravating, as I just did a clean install of my hard drive and installed 10.6.6. I think I'll be going back to 10.6.5 for now.
