I know it sounds Outlook-ish, but I think it'd be nice to be able to have my calendar and contacts show within Apple Mail -- that way, everything is right there in one window, and any changes I make are synced to Gmail / GCal, since that's the source of my calendar and contacts.

Have only found one reference to a since-defunct piece of software. Can this be done, preferably via freeware -- or even software options I missed?

You could use Microsoft Entourage. :shudder:

This is the biggest reason I can't have OSX as my primary. When Outlook shows up to OSX, lots of things will change.

Hah, I hate Entourage though :) And besides, those three bits of software are great on their own -- was hoping for some sort of way to keep using them instead of going the Entourage route.

I agree, would be nice to have them integrated into a single app, like outlook.

As it is, I hardly ever go into iCal and so I don't really know how to navigate it or use it very well. Maybe I should auto launch it at startup. Would be great if it and Mail were one and the same since I have Mail open quite often.

    Oh well
