I have a question about installing windows on a partition on a MBP, orrr, if boot camp is effective thats fine too.
Can boot camp run the exact same as windows, such as say I had a windows installed computer with the SAME specs as my macbook using boot camp, would the Macbook suffer (during something like a video game) greatly?
Also, why can't you do a clean install of windows 7 in a partition?
Can you boot camp windows 7?
Sorry if these are rookie questions.

There is an FAQ that will outline most, if not all, of the answers to your questions in the root of this section of the forum.

I think you're a little confused as to what Boot Camp is.
Boot Camp is simply the utility which allows you to setup a partition on your Mac to install Windows into. As soon as that partition is setup, Boot Camp's job is done and you don't run it again unless you want to remove the Windows partition. -
Boot camp...
what it does is it help you to create a paritition first, follow by which you have to insert the win7 disc to install
once you have finish installing, you will hv to install the application disc that comes with your mac... this will allow you to use all the necessary applications (e.g. brightness control)
once you have done this, the mac will run win7 in native mode. even when it start up.
to change it to boot to mac os, you have to click on the bootcamp icon on the bottom right of the screen and select "restart in mac os x"
.....
1 thing to note is the reverse position of command (win button) and option (alt key) ...
when im playing game, i will accidentally press win button and go to windows mode and get killed, when im supposed to press alt key to use spells =/ -
^ you can use sharp keys or something to modify key inputs.
