Is there any way to accomplish this?
BootCamp does not recognize external HDs.. >.<

I really need to use windows for some thing or another, but I did not want to occupy space from my macbook's HD with it. Hence, I want to boot on it from an external HD.

Plus, I want to be able to boot in Windows 7 indeed, I do not want to access it only as a virtual machine.

    Thanks very much!
    Fernando.

From what I've read, no, it can't be done.
