Which Macbook do you have? I'm assuming it's the glossy white or black one right?

if he has a blackbook, the finish is matte not glossy like the white ones. So yea, im guessing hes talking about the screen.

Weird, I've seen blackbooks in person and none of them had a glossy finish like the white macbooks. Maybe earlier ones were glossy.

i think he implied that the black ones were matte by specifying the white ones as "glossy." confusion, confusion.

actually, my old blackbook was glossy once i applied the invisible shield :)

When people say glossy they are generally referring to the screen rather than the body of the notebook... and why would you say glossy when you can say white? It would be nice if you could be clear next time so we don't waste time arguing over what you meant...

Download one app, then you should be able to do a check for updates, this might just find all the other ones for you and update them.
As a side note, its always a good idea to backup your data before doing a clean instal... you can then just drag the apps from the backup into itunes.
    a
