    Hi,

I was also wondering if there was free software either built-in that I'm not aware of or shareware that will allow me to make a video of what i'm currently doing on the screen. For instance capturing my screen as I write this message?

If theres not anything "free" anyone know of any purchasable software for this.

    As always thanks!

That application is Windows only. Please refrain from posting irrelevant and pointless information in the future.

The best screen recorder application for OS X that I have come across is Screen Mimic: http://www.decimus.net/ScreenMimic.php
It is free and supports a number of capture modes and codecs.
