    I noticed under preferences there is an area
    to enter networks. Or ports and what not.
    Does anyone have any insight to get me
    going on the school network.

    They probably have it blocked, I know they do at my school. You might want to the network admin about it.

    Yeah i cant use mail at my school. At home its fine but at school oh no. Talk to the people who run the internet at school
