    Is there a good id3 tag editor apart from itunes?

    My music collection is missed up(thanks to wmp) and now i need to delete the id3 tags.

    I used TuneUp, its an automated type ID tag fixer. You can fix about 500 songs before they ask for $$
    But it could be worth a try.

    a good place to search for software is http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/

    go there and do a search for "ID3" and you get many hits... just look through for the freeware ones and read about them.

    Also, someone else asked not long ago for MP3tag which is a Windows only program. I made a quick Mac running version (completely unoffcially)... its a quick Wine port, could be a bit better on the backend, but it works non-the-less...
