Ok. I got a Ibook G3 a few months ago, it is the white square one with 2 USB ports. So i got it, used (obviously) so somebodys crap was on it like passwords. Instead of trying to figure it out, i decided to reinstall Mac. I think 10.3 no sure though it was awhile back. So while i had the first disc running i left. I came back, computer off. So I go up to it, press the power button. Nothing. I press the Caps Lock. At least the green light lights up. The computer doesnt even make a single sound. No DING, Nothing on the screen, no noise from the computer at all. I let it go for a few months just sitting around my house. A few months later i start it up. DING. Apple on screen. Computer making noise. Let it go for 5 minutes to find the discs. I find them, come back, Computer off, Same thing as before. Now Im trying everything. I tried putting pressure on it, nothing. Everything I read I tried. Any other suggestions? (other than buying a whole new computer)

Do you have it plugged into the mains? Otherwise it could be its battery dying, or it's overheating.

Yep I always charge it and on the bottom of the battery the green lights show full battery. And its been over a year now since it broke so it must be overheating as soon as a press the power button.

pre-G4 ibooks were notorious for qraphics issues, try clamping down on the top left of the case and see if the video comes back.
