ok so i just got my Ibook G4 logic board back from repair, they repaired the GPU and now it only shows a black screen. I've tried researching the problem to see how i could try to remedy this, but couldn't find anything. any help would be appreciated, just need to know what i could do to test it out or make it work. when i hold the power button, it turns on, and makes the start up sound, but the screen stays blank. the lights will work if i press the number/caps lock buttons.

problem is it was working ok before the board was repaired

Seriously, take it back. Shoddy repair work that suggests they didn't test it before sending it back to you.

can't just take it back, i live in Hawaii, it was sent to GPU Medics and apparently i'm finding out they've had issues a lot with angry customers. that actually was the second time i sent the board back to them, it worked fine after the 1st time, then started glitching so they said send it back. i did so, and it took them over a month to reply to numerous calls and e-mails i sent, then after threatening them with police helping the situation, they finally sent it back.

i'm not gonna go through all that mess again, i simply wanted to know if anyone off hand knows how to fix the issue.

does anybody know any tips/tricks to fix the issue, cause posting replies telling me to send it back is not really helping me, although i appreciate the effort to help guys, i just wanna try and repair it myself rather than spend more $$ and risk the ridiculous issues happening again :)

You should attempt a disassembly to see if they simply "forgot" to connect the LCD cable to the motherboard. If that's not the case then you probably need to take it to a repair place near you.

If you paid for the repair by CC, I would try dispute the charge since they either didn't fix the problem, or caused another.

i checked already, i had plugged everything in correctly and had even checked all the pins in all the connectors, everything looked fine.
paid with it using Paypal, but it was a over a month and a half probably from the time I paid so it was already too late to do anything about it.
