But i want to wait it out until october. The new OS leaperd will be released hopefully in the new Macbooks. But will Santa rosa be in the Macbooks or will they just put them in the pro series.

o also here that the integrated graphics in Santa Rosa will be much better than what is already offered. Is this true.

Eventually the Macbook will migrate over to the Santa Rosa platform because Intel will stop making the old chipset. Macbook Pros might get it first though.

Integrated graphics (X3100) in Santa Rosa is better than the current GMA950, but it still won't be better than any dedicated graphics card.

The better graphics alone on the MacBook seem worth waiting for.

Another question. I have a wireless G router. The problem is that my laptop says its using b. Will i be able to connect to the internet if its using b. I know the card in the mac book is g and n enabled. Or will we need to reset the router settings. Its made by linkyses.

G is backward compatible with B. if your router is set up properly, i'd want to find out why your laptop isnt using G. unless your card is b only, or your forcing B in its properties somehow.

If your laptop is older, it probably only has the technology for 802.11b. So even if the router is transmitting the signal in 802.11g, the laptop will still only show b, because that is all the laptop can handle. If I had to guess, that is probably your case.
