Guys I am so much excited. I have finally switched and should get my first ever mac the new macbook white in next couple of days :D

I have two questions, I had ordered SODIM DDR2, 800Mhz 4GB RAM and a 500GB, 7200RPM SATA Drive with a thought of upgrading my latitude E6400.

Can I use them (RAM and HDD) and upgrade apple macbook? and will that impact apple warantee?

Mac and PC use the same type of hdd thus they're interchangable. So you can use the 500GB HDD on your Mac.

I don't think upgrading the ram and Macbook breaks the warranty terms. If it does, that would be pretty sad since majority of the laptop manufacture allow you to upgrade them without voiding the warranty.

The new MacBooks use DDR3. Which Macbook do you have?

The RAM you purchased for your Dell should work with your Macbook as it uses DDR2 at 800MHz.
