Yeah it looks pretty nice, but for me it almost appears as a novalty software.

I downloaded it to try anyways.

Holy crap the barscan thing actually works with my MB's isight, I kinda like how it tells the current value of something as well.

    Its a nice find.

I had heard of this program before I had a Mac and always thought it was pretty cool. For those that don't want to click through, this allows you to use any firewire camera, including the iSight, to scan a barcode and then inventories it for you. It comes in real handy if you have ALOT of DVD's and loan them out alot. This way you remember what you have. I am sure there are other uses, but having an inventory of your books, CD's, DVD's etc is its main use I believe.

It'd be nice to see it expanded even more, if I had a large collection of collectibles I would recommend this program. I removed it after playing with it for a while, have no real need for it personally.

Anyways $40 seems somewhat high to me.

I thought $40 for it was a bit high. But if you have lots of DVD's and such and loan them out a lot it could be a neat little gadget.
