    How well can my macbook run Quake 3 Arena?

    I have a 2ghz C2D macbook with the GMA 955 video card. 1GB RAM

    how well if at all can I run Quake 3 Arena?

    GMA 950, not 955 first off.

    second off, you only have 1gb ram, thatll make it puke slow.

    if you even want a chance at running Q3, youll need some more ram, like 2gb, and bootcamp.

    A 10 year old game will run just fine on yoru GMA :-D

    Even if you only had 512 mb of ram.

    if hes running on bootcamp it should run fine, works on my gma 950 in my toshiba, I play Q3 and ST:Voyager Elite Force( uses q3a engine) on it no problem.
