    i bought my whitemacbook right be the free itouch promo ended, i have MAC OS X ver. 10.5.8 i read thread somewhere here that said i could get either a free or $5 upgrade to the new OS coming out. can somoen verify this with me, and how would i get it? THanks alot guys.

    Hi Pmode.

    If you are on a Mac, then definitely. Pop the disc in, open the installer, follow the instructions. It selects the upgrade option automatically and will save your apps and all of your data. Once you are booted into Snow Leopard, everything should be the same except the OS you're running
