I have toast 8 and it really wasn't worth the money I paid for it. I don't use it and have limited space on the macbook. How do I uninstall it?

Go into the Applications folder and simply drag it to the trash and delete the trash. If you want to remove all traces of Toast then go into Spotlight and type either Roxio or Toast Titanium and any files related to that will show up and you drag those to the trash and you are free and clear.

I'm not sure, as I do not use it personally, but Toast may have its own uninstaller. If it does, then use that. If it doesn't follow, hldan's method.

It's a great program, but I really need to conserve all my disk space until I can afford a new hard drive. I have heard that some of the free ones are tiny compared to Toast, and might try burn out.

    I see.

Have you ever looked at Disco? Its another burning program for OS X, not as expensive as Toast.

Disco costs US$29.95. You can read more by clicking the link.

You already paid for Toast though. It only takes up about 300MB of disk space. In comparison Disco takes up about 4MB.

Roxio does provide Uninstall Instruction for Toast: How to Uninstall Toast 7 & 8 Titanium.

Yes, Disco does a bit more than just burning (it comes with some fancy animations too ;)). But considering its price, it probably doesn't have as many features as Toast does.

However, as Xander stated, since you already have Toast, then don't go out and buy Disco. However, just a heads-up, so maybe in the future when Toast 8 is outdated you could think of getting Disco or you could recommend other friends to get Disco. :)
