I am running Leopard and wondering if there is a way to send a fax over broadband to someone?
I have the file I want to send in a .doc and a .pdf already. I need to be able to send it to a phone number as some people who want my resume will only take it this way.
But in the future I'm hoping there is a way to do that in leopard that is hopefully free?

Not free but price is very reasonable. I use www.myfax.com. It's on online fax service. I got one month free trial and it's month to month so you can cancel at any time. You send the fax like you send an attached email and it's delivered to the recipient as any regular fax. It takes PDF's, Word docs and several other text documents. The only other way would be to have the Apple 56k modem hooked up to your Mac.

Some MFP have the fax built in. Also there are a few web based fax services if you google.

I use MyFax as well, excellent service and extremely easy to use.
