How do I run a program from an ISO, as opposed to having to put the disk into my Macbook Pro?

You can make "dmg" files from a cd using disk utility, these are essentially iso's and OXs can mount these natively.
otherwise if you have "toast" you can make an iso and mount it very easily.

Spotlight>type in disk utility and click on top hit> then click on your .iso you want to burn> then click burn at the top of the window and that should do it!

I am using the program Rosetta Stone and I would like to run it without having my CD in the laptop. I tried the utility but it didn't work.

I used to use a program called Virtual Drive on Windows....

Don't .iso files mount automatically when you double click on them?
